The company KYKNOS S.A., which is a leader mainly in the field of tomato processing and standardization as well as other standard products with a presence in Greece and exports abroad, wanted to move its Athens headquarters to new premises in an office building on Syggrou Avenue and assigned the architectural firm KParchitects to design and construct the project.
The premises, with a total area of 360m2, accommodate 20 employees with the possibility of further job development in the future.
The main concern was the creation of spaces that would reflect the history, culture, identity and vision of the company.
The purpose of the study was to design open plan spaces with the possibility of flexibility in the layout of the office units according to the company’s needs and to create a pleasant working environment that assimilates all of its executive potential in the most creative way.
The overall space is organized with the workstations and executive offices parallel to the glass facade and side elevations, taking advantage of the natural lighting and ventilation of the space while a zone of spaces on the inner side of the floor plan includes individual offices, the main meeting room and a series of different sized skype-booths. Particular emphasis was placed on creating a spacious and pleasant dining and eating area for organizing corporate events.
The color palette attributed to the walls by the company’s logos balances between the neutral shades of the furniture and wooden structures, while the integration of graphic applications, which was based on the company’s guidelines, gave a distinct identity to the space.
