The Architectural Study concerns the utilization and redesign of two existing buildings with a total area of 3000 m2 on a plot located in a quiet area of Pefki.
The aim of the Architectural Study is to conceive a new concept that concerns both the external shell of the two buildings and the internal typology of the apartments, creating new living conditions.
The intervention is radical. Only the structural frame of the two buildings and parts of the exterior shell are retained, while all interior walls and the existing partitioning are removed.
The new apartments vary in size and features to meet the project’s building requirements. The two buildings consist of a total of 12 apartments ranging from 75m² to 130m² and 14 maisonettes from 140m² to 160m².
All ground floor apartments open out into exclusive gardens with the possibility of a private swimming pool, while the upper floor apartments have large openings and terraces, maximizing the feel of the main spaces.
Particular emphasis was placed on ergonomics, the functionality of the spaces and high aesthetics, while the entire project was designed with modern energy systems, contributing to the reduction of energy consumption and the improvement of energy efficiency.
