The Architectural study concerns the formation of a new research and development department for cosmetics and personal care products in the facilities of one of the leading consumer products production and trade groups in Greece.

The purpose of the study was to create new office space as well as laboratory space, in accordance with international ISO quality standards, within the framework of a modern environment that reflects the company’s developmental and dynamic character.

The new department, with a total area of ​​approximately 600m2, extends on a single level and includes reception areas and showroom, office spaces and meeting rooms, a laboratory, archives and auxiliary areas.

Όλοι οι γραφειακοί χώροι, οι οποίοι αναπτύσσονται εκατέρωθεν ενός κεντρικού διαδρόμου, έχουν μελετηθεί με σύγχρονα διαχωριστικά συστήματα γραφείων αποτελούμενα από κρύσταλλα καθ΄ όλο το ύψος και συμπαγή διαχωριστικά χωρίσματα έτσι ώστε να προσφέρουν από την μια πλευρά, άπλετο φωτισμό και διαφάνεια στους χώρους και από την άλλη, οπτική απομόνωση όπου απαιτείται.

The office partitions along the corridor are highlighted by a continuous light line that runs along them on the ceiling.

The differentiation between workspaces and corridors is achieved through the selection of different flooring shades.

Finally, the laboratory area, which differs from the other workspaces, has been designed with European cleanroom systems in combination with large glass surfaces, aiming to eliminate boundaries and maximize the transparency and directness of the laboratory with the main corridor.
